Hi Guys,

Is it possible to create a transfer order with no Cost price at all. Since in one particular scenario, let say we got an Item A as free, so i raise a purchase order zero cost price for Site 1 and now you transfer Item A from site 1 to site 2. But AX will post the Base cost price of Item A on this particular transfer transaction(In inventTrans "CostAmount"). But in real time you should expect the cost amount should be zero. Since we got the item A as free.

How to work on this scenario..?

    Hi,

    Please try using inventory marking to link your inventory transaction in the transfer order to the ones with zero cost and see if you got the desired result.

    This will depend upon your costing method and how the dimension group is set to control financial costs and whether you batch track etc. Ultimately it can be done, but depending upon your setup you may have configured the system NOT to do this from a financial perspective which means you do not care. However as Dolee says, if you use marking this will override the other statements and mark the cost and push it through - make sure however you run the inventory close to push costs through.
