Linkedin In QR Code: How to create contacts by scanning it?

Hi there!

So an amazing colleague asked me /when we go to a business fair, people now share their LinkedIn QR Code instead of their business card, how can I scan it in Quick create to create a new lead/contact?/

I googled & Binged it and yet no answer.

My first answer is that the QR code only sends you to a webpage (the linkedin profile page) so not really like giving you all the details. So it does not seem that the QR code itself has the info (so not a contact card).

Yet if Linkedin belongs to Microsoft and Dynamics too, shouldn't we be able to scan a Linkedin QR Code and extract all the basic contact data to create a new Lead/Contact?

Has anyone tried or find a way around it?

Problem: we dont want to add manual work to our sales persons (retyping all the info manually into the system after the event) neither that they stay with the contacts (keep the contact in linkedin and not adding them to the CRM).

Unfortunately, I haven't found any official information from Microsoft about this feature either.
