Anyone implemented Asset Leasing Module OOB on Microsoft D365 F&O? we would like to understand how the Depreciation Schedule starting from Period 0 worked for you. Currently Lease Liability Amortization schedule interest is calculated and posted in Period 0. However our business requirements need interest to be calculated from Period 1 and not from Period 0. Is there any Set up or parameter that will help achieve expected outcome?
Hi, The asset leasing module in the standard environment is calculated starting from period 0. If you want to implement your business needs, you may need to customize the logic of lease liability amortization and interest calculation to start calculating from period 1.
