Is it feasible to run a SQL query to apply invoices and credits in a specific Vendor in the AP tables or sub ledger?

We have two vendors that are being used as a clearing account for one of our integrations, the number of invoices and credits continues to grow exponentially. Our AP team is already stretched very thin and I was hoping I might be able to run a script to update these vendors only internal application of invoices and credits.

    Hi,

    When you say Clearing Account, do you have Inter-Fund Management Setup using those accounts?

    I hope you already have Distributions passed to such accounts, in that case it wont let you change the Clearing Account and corresponding To/From Due Account will be passed to respective Clearing Accounts only.

    Hi,

    It is not a best practice to override any functionality from Back-end approach.

    The justification is there is high possibilities of human error when doing such update.

    Alternatively you can try to create a new set of Accounts for these vendors which differs from Clearing Account, and have a cut-off date to start using these new accounts.

    Once you make these Accounts up and use for all your AP Transactions, then TB will have properly distributed values.
