Emailing Statements using templates vs the statement email settings

Hi,

Prior to GP2013, we emailed statements using the "regular" email settings for statements. Now that they're available, we've switched to using the Word Templates for statements. Unfortunately since we've activated the templates, the old statement email settings are no longer available - the email settings button is grayed out on the Print Statements window.

So the question is, now how do we avoid printing statements for email statement customers?
