    Hi Durai,

I'm unable to see your attached file.
Are you sure the connection string from SQL Server Management Studio is the same as the format it requests?

    Please give us some context.

    Is it about BYOD?

Are you trying to configure it for the first time or is it something that stopped working? If the latter, what has changed?

What kind of F&O environment is it?

    Hi

It is for the BYOD connection, and it is resolved now. It seems to be some credential issue on the server. Thanks for the replies.

Azure SQL connection from Data Management framework
    Hi Durai,

The connection string provided is incorrect.

For Azure SQL you need to provide the below mentioned connection string.
    Integrated Security=False;Encrypt=True;Connection Timeout=30;Data Source=<azuresqlinstancename>.database.windows.net;Initial Catalog=<databasename> ;Integrated Security=False;User ID=<sqladminusername>;Password=<sqladminpassword>

For eg: For Azure SQL you need to provide the below connection string.
    Integrated Security=False;Encrypt=True;Connection Timeout=30;Data Source=dmosqlinstance.database.windows.net;Initial Catalog=dmosqlbyod ;Integrated Security=False;User ID=sqladmin;Password=<sqladminpassword>

    Validation steps (For access rights):
To validate the connection and the access rights, in SQL Server management studio use the below mentioned steps.

Provide the database name under Connection properties tab in the SQL Server Management studio and this should work. Post that provide the connection string in D365 and validate the connection.

Hope this helps. Happy to answer questions, if any.
