Hi,
When I make new Sales agreement the Effective date takes the date of today automatically, I need to know how does this happen because I need to control the Expiration date to set it also for a specific date let's say Effective date + 90 days, how can I do this?
Hi KareemTaima,
The date is filled automatically by the system with the current date and the status is „on hold“. When you confirm the agreement you can change the status to „effective“. If you have to change the effective date this is something you have to do manually. There is no parameter to have an influence on the date calculation.
ok I know it's filled automatically, but how?
and I need to change the Expiration date automatically, how?
Currently I do not have access to my AX2012 dev box but the field is filled in the create new record wizard as soon as you click „new“. So you have to check the init logic of this wizard.
You could set the DefaultAgreementLineExpirationDate of the form SalesAgreement.
Please try to code on the post-eventhandler at the createrecord method of the form SalesAgreement.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
QianQW
