Importing data to Dynamics Look Up Field

Posted on by 20

Hello All,

I am trying to import Woo-commerce order details through plugin installed. Everything seems to be working fine.

However, when I am trying to import the data from Woo-commerce field (Not look up field) to Look Up field in Dynamics CRM it seems to be not allowing. It is mandatory field so I can't even ignore it. Is there a way I can do this operation?

Method 1: I am trying to set field value for "Potential Customer" based on email address (Unique). Snapshot attached. Although, I can only set look up field for look field so It ain't allowing me to set email address.

Please share views. Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Logee

    Hi Logee,

The wrong is appear in Filter Query of List Records, you should write as following:

    pastedimage1598251479897v1.png

Email must be logic name of field, and dynamic value must be use symbol ‘’, Otherwise, you will make Syntax error.

    Hi,

You need to put 'Dynamic Content'.

Next time please share error details and screenshot of your flow if you face any issue again.

Also, use xrmtoolbox Fetchxml builder tool to construct your filter query

    Hi,

filter query in list record is wrong.

You need to specify in small letter - emailaddress1 eq

We need to follow web api query.

    Hey Leah,

    1. Record already exists. If not, there must be a way to run a flow after contact record is created or lets say run the flow every half an hour or something.

    2. I agree, that's why we need to filter out based on email address if that make sense.

Please check below snapshots I am working on, P.s., No luck yet.

    Hi Logee,

Although the tools are different, the possible causes are the same.so you can check parent entity(customer) records.

As I mentioned above, you can check following:

1.The customer entity record don't exist yet, there was no way to populate this field while importing the data. so you need create customer record firstly

2.There are multiple records with the same name on the customer entity, the import will fail since it does not know which Contact record to associate to the Donor.

    Regards,

@leah, Thanks for detailed description. However, I am using CRMPerks plugin to send data to Dynamics CRM.
