Error: There is no Posted Whse. Receipt Header within the filter

I'm setting up warehousing functionality for my organization and have run into an error when trying to post the warehouse receipt that I have created from a purchase order.

If I select Post Receipt the warehouse receipt does not post successfully and the following message appears:

"Number of source documents posted: 0 out of a total of 1."

However, if I select Post and Print I get the same message above and then an additional error message:

"There is no Posted Whse. Receipt Header within the filter.

Filters: Location Code: XXXX, Whse. Receipt No.: XXXXXXXX"

Any thoughts on the cause of this error?

    Hi,

Please go to the warehouse setup in NAV/BC. One setup there is, Receipt Posting Policy - Choose the option "Stop and show the first posting....".

After trying to post it - you will show errors and correct them accordingly. Check the whether there is a number series conflict between Posted Purchase Receipt and Posted Warehouse Receipt number series.

    Hi Scott,

The warehouse receipt posting error could be many things from Location setup to Zone and Bin. Try below to isolate the possible error. You may need to run debug as mentioned by the Suresh:

    1. Change your receiving ZONE or BIN

    2. Delete the entire warehouse receive document and try to re-generate it and post again.

The second error is due to printing. The Post and Print function will first post the warehouse receipt and then subsequently pick up the posted warehouse receipt for printing. Since the document is not successfully posted, hence the systems fail to retrieve the posted document to print.

    Hope this address your issues.

    Regards,

    Darren
