Friends,
We are doing a D365 implementation for a customer. There are multiple ISV involved. If someone can help by providing step by step directions on how to merge the ISV code and create a single deployable package. Looking for best practices in this area.
Thanks in Advance.
Short story, use a build VM and check in the ISV stuff into source control.
See docs.microsoft.com/.../manage-runtime-packages
In the world of extensions there shouldn't be a need to merge anything, you can install everything side by side. Depending on what your ISV provides you, install their models or deployable packages on one dev machine, check them in source control and you're good to go! Your build will pick them up automatically and create one deployable package.
Hi Payish,
To create one package for ISVs and custom model, need build environment and code should be under source control,
Then one package of latest application release and custom package can be merged into one package.
