I have a requirement to track the export/Save to functionality from report due to some data privacy. I am managed to do it in view via custom code(ExportToExcel message name), but from reports I couldn't track it. (I can't change the security privilege's for 'Export to Excel' to none).

Have you checked Supported Plugin messages file which is availble in SDK to see if any OOB message is already present so that you can write plugin to create custom entity record...
Hi Carlo, thanks for the info, my requirement is to get the user details and report names to store it in a custom entity, will that be possible to achieve through custom code. We have an online instance.
I believe that the best approach will be to enable Activity Logging.
