Pending supplier invoice can't be deleted after cancelled workflow

I have a pending supplier invoice record, as the invoice was wrong, so I have cancelled the workflow with my system admin permission, I was expecting by cancelling the workflow, I can delete the supplier invoice, but the supplier invoice is still showing "in review" status, but there's no workflow button on top, so now I can't do anything with this invoice.
Can any experts suggest what can I do? Many thanks in advance!
