BC 24 on-prem environment configuration problem

Hi Community ,

My question might be all over the place , kindly excuse me .

I have created a BC 24 on-prem server instance , one using AccessControlService and Windows ( ClientServicesCredentialType ) .

This is new project , not a data migration project ( fyr ) .

I have configured the following details in admin shell of BC24 :

managementserviceport
DeveloperServicesPort
ClientServicesPort
ODataServicesPort
SOAPServicesPort

ADOpenIdMetadataLocation
AppIdUri
AzureActiveDirectoryClientCertificateThumbprint
DatabaseName
DatabaseServer

PublicWebBaseUrl
ServicesCertificateThumbprint
ValidAudiences
WSFederationLoginEndpoint

In IIS I have added the following details for the created server instance ( navsetting.json ) :
managementserviceport
ClientServicesPort
ClientServicesCredentialType
AadApplicationId
AadAuthorityUri

I have read some other threads talking about net.tcp listener adapter , net.pipe listener adapter being stopped . But in my rdp all those services are running .

When I am trying to load the environment I am not getting any errors in the event viewer . But only the following errors are present in screens .

This screen is when I am trying to load AccessControlService  environment . My credentials were not asked for . As soon I try to load this url , this error came .

This is the error I am getting when I am trying to load Windows environment . As soon as I enter the credentials , this page loads with this error message .

The azure AD details are correct ( it is setup in same format as in BC 22 environment ) , verified .

Should I check elsewhere  and am I missing some configuration , kindly help .

Thanks & Regards

Calvin

Sorry, I have only tested Azure authentication in previous versions, is it possible that it is a problem with the certificates?
    Tests in older version:

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Thank you for the reply Mr. Yun Zhu . Actually the same certificate is used for other BC environments by my organization ( BC 18 , BC 19 , BC22 ) . And all those environments are working as expected currently . So I think that there is no problem with the certificate .  I have updated the certificate here in this BC 24 admin shell field  : ServicesCertificateThumbprint . Should I check elsewhere .

I have gone through the documentation that you have provided above . And I have tried to enter the web client link in the following format as provided in the documentation : http://192.168.227.198:8080/BC171/

Then I got the following 2 errors :

The error points to management port missing , but I have added it already . Here for your reference .

    Navsetting.json file :-

My environment is multitenant by the way and the ClientCredentialType is AccessControlService . Any suggestion on what next to check for ?

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi people ,

The problem is that the values did not set properly in my iis web server . So i added the below command and then set all config for the web server again . It worked like a charm .

     Import-Module "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central\240\Web Client\Modules\NAVWebClientManagement\NAVWebClientManagement.psm1"

    Regards

To confirm, opening the module by specifying the path worked for me too. The customer had BC19 installed on the same server from before they upgraded and the BC Admin Shell had picked up the old web client module and installed a BC19 web client, which did not work with a BC26 middle tier service!

Thanks for following up and posting your resolution CD-25061047-0!
