When Open AX in user I get the error "an error has occurred in the script on this page"

when I open ax2012 r3 in user I get the error msg " an error has occurred in the script on this page "

My version is ax 2012 r3 ( Kernel Version : 6.3.164.0 ) // ( Application version : 6.3.164.0 )

this is the error I get

This is an error because Role centers are activated for you in AX, and either your browser (Internet Explorer) is incorrectly/too strictly configured for script execution on your domain, or the Role center/Enterprise Portal website is not properly deployed.

Can you validate with your System administrator if you still get the error message once you change your browser settings to allow scripts on a more broad way? Also can you validate if you open Enterprise Portal?

If you do not need Role centers in AX, you could also ask your AX administrator to disable it for your user account across all companies.

Hi,

Open Your Internet Explorer.

♦ On the top right corner, you could see a menu named “Tools“. Click on Tools and then choose “Internet Option“.

♦ From there you will be navigated to a window with lot of menu. Choose “Advanced” option in the menu.

♦ Now You should Tick following check boxes 1. Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer) 2. Disable Script Debugging (Other).

♦ Also Untick the following Check box “Display a notification about every script error”

hi , thank your help ,, I open in internet explorer is ok not come out the error scrip just when I open the system like this .. I get all the error msg ... from this how can fix it .

hi,

Please disable script debugging option from IE.

Please try to open AX as administrator and provide required permissions to the user id in enterprise portal.

The answer is in the first post. Work with your system administrator, or implementation partner to get it configured.
