Exception message when activitating OneDrive for Business

Hello,

I wanted to enable onedrive for Business for testing purpose on our development systemn.

We use cloud-based D365 Sales

But spite operating as system administrator, I receive exception message due to insufficient rights. I have also created the sharepoint site with the same user

Do you have any ideas why?

    Have you checked if you do this step with an user, who has Microsoft 365 Global administrator credentials ?

    I did perform the step with my Global Admin user. I also checked all the security roles assigned to that user, and all of them except the Activity Feeds role have the full green circle on OneDrive for Business.

    Does your Global Admin user have the Activity Feeds security role? I'm wondering if this is a Principle of Least Privilege thing.

    I canceled my investigations as we knew after some time that we will stick with the sharepoint solution which works generally pretty fine.
