Import data to periodic journal

Hi All,
We need to import entries in a periodic journal from Excel file, are there someone could shed a light on this subject, I would appreciate it.

    You can try to use the Data Management Framework to import entries from an Excel file into a periodic journal. You can also refer to the General Ledger Import blog to understand the general steps. https://dynamicsax-fico.com/2017/12/07/dynamics-365-general-journal-excel-imports/

    It doesn't appear there is a data entity for periodic journal type.  You could retrieve the periodic journal in a general journal and then open it in Excel and copy/paste your source data.  Can you tell us more about the requirement?  Why do you need to import the journal rather than retrieve it from a periodic template?
