Hi All,
i have a client that has SQL named instances and custom port, when am trying to run the command ".\Initialize-Database.ps1 -ConfigurationFilePath .\ConfigTemplate.xml -ComponentName Orchestrator" it get stucked and does not do any action, i think it is because i need to change Db configuration to reflect the SQL names instance.
can any one please guide me where shall i specify the name instance parameter ? in which file in the infrastructure folder?
Thank you,
Please add another parameter(DatabaseServer) to specify the named instance eg: " -DatabaseServer DBServerName\SQLNamedInstance,PortNo "
Hi, Mohanmmad
Sorabh is correct. please use DatabaseServer parameter to specify instance and port.
And remember, you have specify instance name and port in the LCS configuration later.
So we are not recommend to deploy D365FO OP on instance SQL with non-default port
Do you have example of the LCS configurations settings?.
HI Luke,
how can we specify the named instance on LCS as FQDN ? we have created an Alias and used in LCS ,but during deployment the AXSF is connecting to the default instance i believe due to the certificate that is issued with server name, how can i make sure AXSF connect to the named instance ?
