I want to be able to link both Cost Centre and Business Unit to a site (using site dimension link)

I've been scratching my head over this one for ages and need some help.

When processing a stock transaction, only 1 financial dimension is posted and I wish to default 2 values per site..... or establish a relationship between Cost Centre and Business Unit (the 2 values I want)?  Is there an answer in Advanced Rule Structures that I cant see?

    Hi vernonj,

    I do not believe that this can be realized by setting up advanced rule structures as they only define what is allowed and what is not allowed to be posted. Is there always a fixed relationship between your sites, cost centers and business units? Have you tried setting up a new combined financial dimension consisting of business unit and cost centre (if this is possible in your environment)?

    Since once financial dimension can be linked to a site, I believe that a developer should be able to link a 2nd, 3rd ... Have you tried making such a system modification?

    Hi Ludwig, thank you for taking the time to reply.  You have saved me a lot of trial and error attempts using the advanced rules (and I was wondering if they would ever get to a point of auto-posting).  I will take you advice and speak to our developer to add a 2nd Financial dimension onto the Site dimension link.
