How to exclude the voided list in RM Transaction Inquiry

Hi, in RM Transaction Inquiry Report the Totals shows the sum up amount of Document Amount. Is there any ways to exclude the Document Amount of Voided Document from sum up together with the other documents? Or maybe we can make the Totals Amount minus the Document Amount of Voided Document?

    Hi Brandon,

I did try to modify the report in Report Writer but I have no idea in which part should I modify it. If you don't mind, could you please state what steps should I do? Sorry, I am new to Dynamics GP.

I still need to generate the report from RM Transaction Inquiry as this report shows all the transactions information including voided document. The voided document still be needed in the list but the totals (originating amount) need to minus the Voided amount.

    Thank you.

This should be a fairly simple change with Report Writer.

You may want to consider SmartList if you are just trying to get transaction history for a customer. Or some kind of SSRS reporting where you can get subtotals/totals.

    Hey Rosess,

You would need to modify the report in Report Writer to change how it calculates the report. There are no settings to change this in GP other than modifying the report.

Really though, is this report really used for the totals? I would suspect if you want to see transactional information like this, you would use the Historical Aged Trial Balance or Aged Trial Balance report. All this report is doing is taking all records in the window and totally them up. It not really intended to be a report you use the balances for.

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you!
