Error Contoso Demo Data Import to Dynamics AX 2012 R3

Hi All,

 My AOS server and sql server are not in same server and  i tried to import  contoso demo data to Dyanmics AX 2012 R3 by using Test Data Transfer Tool (beta) but end of process i got that error and i could not import contoso demo data as you see below photo.

I wrote my problem  here a few times and some of them told me that i should run cmd  as administrator but i already tried it and it didnt work.

Do you have another advice? What should i do?

    I tried to import Contoso demo data using Test Data Transfer Tool (beta) but in last step, i got error that as you can see below photo. So, I couldnt import any data to Dyanmics AX and all tables are empties in Dynamics AX now.

    How i can solve that problem?

    First of all, look into the log generated by TDTT.

    Make sure you use an elevated command prompt (right click run as administrator).

    Check if you are added as a user on SQL Server under Security > Logins, and if you have at least data writer (but db_owner is preferred) rights on your target database.

    After the DB name, provide SQLServerName/SQLInstanceName for the import command, see community.dynamics.com/.../error-while-importing-contoso-data-in-ax-2012-r3

    Thank  you  for answered my question Mr. Kintera,

    I am sure that i have permission to write target database in sql server.  Anyway i had problem in last step that after i did  every thing as you put link in your  comment.

    But  end of process  Remaining =0, Errros=5761 was writing on command  prompt.

    Hi All,

    Hi Caner,

    What exact command did you use to import the demo data? Have you also tried to use the TSTT on the SQL server itself instead of using it on the AOS machine?

    SQL client tools needs to be installed on the machine where you use the TDTT.
