Hi,
What is this Capitalize CWIP and how it will work in NAV.
Is it part of fixed asset......?

CWIP is the amount spent for the creation of fixed asset or assets under completion, Asset can be capitalised after the completion for example setting up a production plant. It may take6 months to for erection and coming to working condition by that time the amount spent on such asset is categorised as CWIP.
Thank you Antoni,
Will it applicable for machinerys also...?
Exemple : I have purchased a machinery worth 10,000/- but still installation is pending so until complication of installation. I'm not able to use the machine. so once its done I have to get it in to book value = Installation cost+ machinery cost.
But if I create the purchase invoice for machinery for 10,000/- acquisition cost (book value) will get update immediately in fixed asset card . How to add installation cost in to book value.
And one more problem is I have to book the value in WIP First than I need to transfer in to fixed asset book value is the possibile in Navision...?

You can add this value to the initial purchase cost and thus capitalize it to any Fixed Assets that has been maintained if this is in line with your local accounting legislation.
