Hello,

I'm having trouble installing the Web Components on nav 2016, everything else is installed.

Reading the logs i only see two problems, Powershell 3.0 needed but i have 5.1 installed, and excel 14 not found but got office 16 installed

I'm on Windows 10 Pro.

Hope someone can help me, already lost much time searching every post but still couldn't figure the problem.

    It may not be related but recently i found an issue where installer was looking for .NET 3.0 even though i have .net framework 4.5 installed, i have to install both versions to run it successfully, so i am hoping you might need to try to install PowerShell 3.0 even though you have 5.1 installed.

    Thanks but i already saw this post, the Firewall is turned off, but i have "Add rule to Firewall" set to No and the DNSIdentity is empty.

    It might be that the Windows Firewall service is turned off. By default when installing NAV there is a setting to add an exception to the Windows Firewall and if the service is stopped then this will make the installation fail.

    When installing the client, try to change ‘Add rule to Firewall’ to be ‘No’ on the parameters setup page.

    Recently I also faced this error and I open the Windows explorer and delete the folder for Web client created by Setup in C:\inetpub\wwwroot folder and installed again and it works.

    May be you can try this one as it work for me
