I have query regarding uploading the opening balance of Fixed asset.

The FA is purchased on 12-02-2013. The go live date is 31-12-2015.

I want to upload the opening bal of FA with the actual purchase date.

can anyone help me out to how to upload thr opening bal of FA with actual purchase date

What was the Start Date and End Date you have supplied while executing the report?

FA posting type as Acquisition in first line and Depreciation in second line

Thanks a lot Mahesh . I did it it is displaying both the dates in the reports except FA book value 01 and book Asset 02. it is not showing the addition period.

Hi Swati,

You have a place to control this. You may remove the check mark on the "FA Depreciation Book" while posting the Opening entries.

FA posting Date and Posting date should be identical.

you case use document date as a FA purchased date

Passing acquisition journal in FA GL journal, it is giving error as posting date and FA posting date should be identical...
