Hello,
What release of BC is this? Cloud or OnPrem, if OnPrem what is the CU release. Best is probably to raise this issue via your partner to Microsoft as there are a few settings that may need adjustments.
Thank you.
Hi, our users have started to get the same prompts and cannot use Open in Excel. We are on BC Cloud latest version. Marco Mels any idea what settings need to be changed?
We had originally setup this SharePoint configuration so that the opened files would save to user's OneDrive folder, following this blog post:
Dynamics 365 Business Central: Microsoft SharePoint Connection Setup page (Open Excel in Sharepoint and OneDrive) | Dynamics 365 Lab (yzhums.com)
Our partner advised to delete this configuration and that resolved the issue for us, although we lost the functionality to save directly to OneDrive and now the Excel files just download to user's computer instead.
Hi, just adding some info.
"As part of this change, we are announcing deprecation of the legacy SharePoint Connection Setup page and SharePoint integration capabilities."
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365-release-plan/2022wave2/smb/dynamics365-business-central/configure-onedrive-integration
Hope this helps as well.
Thanks
ZHU
Thank you Zhu, that makes it more clear. It would appear that the SharePoint feature has been deprecated in the current version, before the new OneDrive Setup becomes available in the next release.
