where the average purchase and receipt price lies between 1.28-1.3 in all transactions in particular month but the issuance have some tranasctions with 1.04 !!

Below is receipt list from the item trans page:

    Hello Ahmed,

Calculating the average price in Excel might give you wrong results because you do not see transactions have been marked against each other and are therefore excluded from the recalculation.

In AX2012 and d365fo you can open a cost explorer and trace form that give you an insight into the origin of the costs of the transactions.

You can find those forms in the inventory transaction form for your item

    Hi Ludwig,

the average in the screen shot calculated in excel after exporting the transactions of the item from AX.

can u elaborate more about cost trace functionality?

    Hi,

How did you calculate the average yellow highlighted column and where did you export the values from?

Have you tried following the origin of the issue by have a look at the inventory cost trace functionality?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
