Error while making external catalog visible on shopping site

Hi,

Greetings!

I tried to publish an external catalog from "<Data area id>/Procurement and sourcing/Common/Catalogs/Procurement catalogs/" edited a category then External catalogs links tab, selected a row and tried to "Show", when I received the following error message:

Info    Message (05:08:25 pm)    To show external catalogs that are hidden and originate from a procurement category, you must republish the catalog.
Info    Message (05:08:25 pm)    Can only Set as Visible external catalogs with Display = No. 0 of all 1 selected item(s) was processed successfully.

When I tried to re-publish the category, I received:

Unable to save data to the file "\layouts\ep\images\<image_name>.jpg".

Then, I published the images from:

<Data area id>/System administration/Area page/Setup/EP/Publish images

But, I am still not able to make the catalog visible.

What am I missing here?

P.S.: The catalogs for other companies could be shown and hidden without any errors.

    Update:

    Hi,

    The error was avoided by running the elevated (run as admin) AX client from the server machine.

    Now, the catalog has been published, the images have been published but the image is still not visible on the portal

    I have refreshed cache, restarted the IIS website.

    Any suggestions?
