Inspections - Enabled analytics but question responses are not generated

Hi,

We are using inspections in field service and would like to build some dashboards on the responses. We have enabled the analytics option and set Frequency to Immediately.

We published an inspection and the questions were created successfully in Customer Voice Survey Questions. We also completed an inspection and got a new record under Customer Voice Survey Responses. However we did not get any new records under Customer Voice Survey Question Response and therefore cannot see the responses anywhere.

Could you please help us out please?

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

    Hi partner,

Have you clicked "Mark Complete" in Work Order Service Task form when you completed an inspection?

If we only save the inspection in Work Order Service Task form, we cannot get any new records under Customer Voice Survey Question Response Data.

If we click "Mark Complete" in Work Order Service Task form, we can get new record under Customer Voice Survey Question Response Data.

    Hi Sayen,

Thanks for your reply. Yes I did click on Mark Complete and a record for Customer Voice Survey Responses. We are missing the Question responses.

    Thanks

Here is a reference link: Run reports on inspection responses in Field Service in Dynamics 365 Field Service - Dynamics 365 Field Service | Microsoft Learn

It is also necessary to check if there are any plugins/workflows on these entities interfere the sync process.

    Hi Kelly,

You did all that it required to enable the inspection deserialization(process that creates the answers).

My suggestion for you is to change the frequency to a time where are no many users logged in your organization, after that if the answers start showing you may need raised a ticket to Microsoft to increase the resources in your organization.

If still no working then you can check the workflow status "Deserialization of Inspection Response Flow"  learn.microsoft.com/.../inspections-reporting this has been suggested by Sayeng Zhang

It is better to isolate those steps that Microsoft will request to you to perform in advance to receive the best help as possible from them.

    All the best

It sounds like you've correctly set up the analytics option for your inspections in Field Service, but you're not seeing the survey responses appear in the expected location.

One thing to check is that the responses are being captured correctly in Customer Voice Survey Responses. If you see the responses there, but not in Customer Voice Survey Question Response, then there may be an issue with the configuration of your analytics settings.

Here are a few things to check:

    1. Ensure that you've selected the correct survey and questions in the analytics configuration. Make sure that the questions you're interested in are selected and that they're mapped correctly to the corresponding field in Dynamics 365.

    2. Verify that the Frequency setting is set to Immediately. If this is set to Daily or Weekly, you may experience delays in seeing the survey responses.

    3. Check the processing status of your analytics data. You can do this by going to Settings > Data Management > Analytics > Processing Status. Look for any errors or warnings that may indicate an issue with the data processing.

If you're still not seeing the responses in Customer Voice Survey Question Response after verifying the above, you may need to engage Microsoft support for further assistance.
