Data not appearing on a field within my account form

Hi Guys,

This is a new one for me. I have a connection made between Dynamics and HubSpot (we use HubSpot for our marketing automation piece) This connection is via PieSync.

Part of this integration is I want the description which HubSpot generates to appear in Dynamics at my account level. In order to make the connection work I needed to create a new Description field and make it a single line of text field. Multi-line text field cant be mapped. i then went ahead and created a rule that is Description 2 contains data then populate description 1 so everyone continues using the existing field.

So here is my question, when i see a connection made between the 2 systems, the description is not flowing across, well at the form level anyway. See below 2 screenshot, one from the form level, the other from an accounts report. At the report level it looks like the description 2 field is populated with information. Of course the rule isnt firing as it thinks there is no description populated.

How do I go about fixing this?

Some other info to know. I increased the character number to 1,000 to allow for long descriptions to come across.

    Hi,

When you say Rule you mean Business Rule?

If yes then please check the scope of Business Rule you set while creating the BR.

For integration it should be set to Entity.

Please mark my answer verified if i were helpful

    Hi Bipin,

Thanks for your reply. Yes I meant business rule. The scope was tagged at form so i swithced it to entity as you said but it hasnt made any change. |The data is still appearing in the report view but not on the form itself. Any other suggestions?
