Product variant dimension values blank in lookup

Hi,

In any transaction form (ex. salesTable, item arrival journal, Released products) in our system (AX 2012 R3 CU9) the individual invent size, color, and style drop-downs are blank. The retail variant (Variant number) lookup works fine however. I am not sure what the issue is, has anyone run into this?

We did load our products and variants through the DIXF using the DMFProductVariantsStandardEntity.

    Can you try in a test environment to create a variant manually to see if this value will show up in the lookups? Are the values also not visible using the system administrator role?

    During import using DIXF, did you change settings related to executing business logic?

    Hi Andre,

    This is happening in our test environment, my user has the System administrator role. I tried creating a brand new item and I still face the same issue. I checked our standard AX environment w/ Contoso data and the drop-downs populate fine there.

    We did not change any settings related to executing business logic with the DIXF when we loaded data.

    Probably you need to verify the conditions when records are being showed in the lookup. Then you might find out if there are some records missing or if it is related to another setting or bug.
