Product variant ID drop down list in PO

Good day,

I am facing a really strange scenario which is:

I created a product master, with variants, and then I have released them, and validated them as well.

Now when I issue a purchase order, I select the item number I created, and move to the variant field, but when I click the drop down menu, I see the released variants, but when I select one of them, I get nothing in the variant field. (See attached)

Microsoft dynamics AX2012 R3

Application version: 6.3.164.0

    Hello Ahmed ,

    Is there any problem if you have selected variants separately.

    I mean when selecting color from color drop menu , the same issue exist ??

    I can select the item variants separately with no problem, the problem is selecting any variants from the drop down list doesn't update the field.

    And this happens to only newly created items, no problems with the old items.
