Hi NAV Peer friends,

I'm developing a Production order report , I need to display the lot no in the report . I have used the Production Order and Production Order line as the parent dataitem. Now i want to display the lot no in the report . I have written the below coding

. I get the lot no populated exactly in the message box. But its not getting displayed in the report I mean layout . Please help . Please see the images below to get a clear view of my issue.

I believe, the above code is written on the "Prod. Order Line" - OnAfterGetRecord trigger.

Are you displaying the GLotnumber in the table control (on the report) or some text box?

It's not on the Page Header, right?

Ya i have written the below code in Prodn order line dataitem. i need to display in the table in the layout . and its not the page header Mahesh.

It is repeating till end for given item . check whether the last line of transactions contains lot No

Ya i has lot no .I checked in ltem ledger entry we have lot no there , and in message box i'm getting the correct lot no . Only in Layout im getting this issue.what to do in this case ?

Check on Dataset also whether you are getting the value.

Run the report and check in About the report.

Do the below change:-

IF recILE.FINDSET THEN REPEAT

GLotnumber := recILE."Lot No.";

UNTIL (recILE.NEXT = 0) OR (GLotnumber <> '');

Could you also post the expression you have entered on the "Lot No." field on the Layout.
