While settling Error: Changes have been made to combination, since the combination was last used.

While we are trying to settle the transactions in two different companies for the same vendor, is showing error as /Changes have been made to combination 111111--ABC since the combination was last used.  The combination must be re-validated to be used./

However, previously in Advance Rule Structure there were 2 dimensions mapped for Company A, then afterwards one dimension was removed from that Advance Rule. Then, while we are trying to settle the Transactions for Company A with Company B Vouchers for same vendor (same party Id linkage), it is showing the above error.

We have tried by reactivating the Account structure, adding again the dimension in the Advance rule, rebuilding dimensions.

Kindly suggest a workaround and solution for this issue.

    Hello,
The error message you encountered indicates that changes have been made to combination 111111--ABC since it was last used and that the combination needs to be re-validated before it can be used again. It seems that removing one dimension from the Advance Rule in Company A caused this issue when trying to settle transactions between Company A and Company B for the same vendor.

    Hi Ankit,

I doubt if there is a functional solution. I would suggest involving a developer to check for the current root cause. Then let him check for the best way to go forward, probably a custom X++ script is required to handle this scenario.
