RelationShip Type in d365fo

Hi team,

Kindly explain me about relationship type properties on the table relation properties

Which value when to select?

Suppose I have two tables -

Table A and Table B

I make the normal relation on Table B with Table A

Which RelationShip Type needs to select?

Pls give me more shed on this.

    Hi @rp@n,

    Martin and Judy provided links with information about relation types. Can you explain to us what exact part you are not understanding? To get your initial question answered, please provide details how these tables are related to each other. Table A and Table B are not clear to us. Table names like Sales order header and Sales order lines or Customers and Terms of Payment are clearer. Then we might be able to help you. Otherwise, you would need to understand the basics. Martin shared a link which should be helpful.

    Your questions can't be answered, because type you should select depends on the logical relationship of those tables, and that unknown to us. It's you who need to think about it.

    If you don't know, for example, what "Composition" means, look at the internet. For example: What are the six types of relationships in UML class diagrams?.
