I am about to do the monthly close of the inventory.
There is a process called write-off locations-in the counting section of inventory management.
Does anyone know what this counting function would do for us?

Hello Lily,
I cannot identify the 'write off locations' from your screenprint.
Yet, it seems that some adjustments are made in this module and the journal.
As an example, the column 'lines with variances' seems to be modified and the 'prepack' journal menu also appears like something self made.
I would suggest that you talk to your system admins / developers to find out more.
