Dear Friends , thanks for everyone's efforts , i dont know how the SL method changed from Straight line life remaining to Straight line Service life . However after changing the service life the issue has been solved . Thanks Everyone .

    Dear Intelin

Did you had any revaluation or acquisition adjustment before posting the depreciation?

Did you used depreciation proposal or entered the depreciation journal manually.

Can you please share the screen of the entry to check if there is something wrong in it.

From the shared screens it looks periods are remaining so it cannot be due to the full depreciation in the last period of depreciation

    Hello,

    - Check FA > Value model > Inquiry > Change history (not sure if it is there in AX2009)

    - The below screenshots are for posted journal? Can it be that the fiscal year is not opened for 2030?

    Thank you,

Hi, I have shared Screenshot for the transaction of the asset above post , it shows till 31/03/2018 , now i am sharing the depreciation profile below

    profile_2D00_1.GIF

it goes till 2026 , actually the service life is 20 , acquisition  yr is 2010 which means the asset end yr should be 2030 , but when you see below screenshot it ends in 2026 , my question is why the value changes from 8545.88 (Please check screenshot shared previously) to 12649.56 and why ends in 2026 instead of 2030

    Hello Intelin,

Have you revaluated the fixed asset or posted another fixed asset acquisition/adjustment transaction?

Can you share the fixed asset transactions that have been posted for the fixed asset where you see this issue?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Another thing, you mentioned that some FAs are having the same case. Do these assets belong to the Asset group?

Can you check FA group > Depreciation books , is there any change in this form?
