Sorry if this was asked - I could not find if it was. I am new to NAV and was wondering if there is a function that will allow you to CHANGE an existing stock code to a new number? i.e. Existing code ABC123 - want to change it to 123ABC
Appreciate your feedback!

Thanks so much! Appreciate the feedback!
Have a great day!
Hello,
If I get it right, you want to change the code for an Item.
There is not a function for this, all you need to do is to change the code directly. But, if the item was originally created using a serial number code, this should have 'manual nos.' considered on its setup (Page "No. Serie").
Then, you can do the modification that you want.
NAV will do the change in all the records where the Item code is located. Even historic data.
I've done this before, and it works, but it will take some minutes if the item has many ledger entries. If it is a relatively new Item, the process is quite fast.
Here a quick video that I've just made on a Cronus DB:
It works for other master data also, as Customers, Vendors, even Dimension Values.
Hope It work out for you.
Regards.
