QA Automation on AX using HP/Mercury QuickTest Professional

I am using HP/Mercury QuickTest professional for automating Microsoft Dynamics. unfortunately, when I record on our application, I see the following - generic WinObject identifications...

Very little is recognized from an object property standpoint. For other ERP applications, Peoplesoft, SAP, you need the appropriate add-ins...however I wasn't aware of one for Microsoft Dynamics.

Has anyone automated on Dynamics previously specifically using QTP that can help?
