We complete all our production orders with the UoM as KGs. All our equipment is setup to measure in KG and so is AX. Completion of production orders and consuming raw materials is all in KGs. This cannot be changed as this would require huge amounts of work.
The problem is, it is sold in litres. So, I am looking towards the sales order side of AX to see if there is a way of converting the inventory into litres from KG when entered onto a sales order. We would then need all related documentation to be reported in litres, i.e. invoices, shipping note etc.
How could I do this in AX? I know the specific gravity of the product, I just need to get this calculation into AX.
