Customer Address Zip Code Selection List

Normally if a user enters a zip code that has multiple matching zip code records when adding a new Customer address, a selection list automatically appears when the user tabs out of the field.

That automatic selection list is no longer working in our Production environment. It continues to work in Test, which at the current time should be an exact match to Production.

Is the automatic display of the selection list built into the AX framework, or is there a method that governs this on the form.

Hi Steve,

On add new address form when open from Customer master form, I entered a zip code and then tab out of the field, but I couldn't see any automatic selection list appears. Can you please add a screen shot, so that I can get better understanding what you are after?

The selection list displays automatically only when there are multiple matches on the zip code.

Hi Steve,

On the Address setup form (Organization administration > Setup > Adresses) you can enable or disable Zip/postal code validations. Check if this setting is enabled or not in your production environment.

Thank you. That appears to have been the problem. I have advised the users to turn it back on.
