User, not found error message in role centre page when approving expenses

We have a user who when they go to approve expense reports, some will go through fine and some will throw up the error "User, not found". This happens randomly and not on any particular user that the expense report is for. The user is having to click approve multiple times on expense reports for them to actually go through.

This error also happens when the user goes into the AX expense portal to approve the expenses.

Troubleshooting tried:

  • Cleared all usage data and AUC files
  • Deleted user in AX and re-imported user
  • Reset Citrix profile

    Hi Jess,

    If there is a consistent reproducible error, it would be possible to find the culprit. If you mention that after several times it works finally, then it is not consistent and really hard to guess what might be wrong. Are you able to contact a partner and get someone involved with technical skills to do some debugging or tracing?

    Hi Andre,

    Thank you for your reply. There doesn't appear to be any errors as such in the workflow history. The "user, not found" error message just pops up on the users' screen when they go to approve items that are assigned to them

    Hi Jess,

    If you go as a system administrator to the Workflow history form, can you then find the workflow instances with the specific errors? Does this provide some more information? E.g. it could try to find a next approver based on positions where the person left the company and the position is an open position.
