What does the Supplier Payment Payment Type do?

Hi everyone


I can't find the answer in the help or on the internet. In the Methods of Payment form, there are two fields named Payment Type; only one is described in the help. What does the other field do? It only has two values: null/empty or On-Account. I've attached a screen-shot for clarity.

    Yes, and that only describes the first Payment Type field (table column PaymentType). There is no information on the second field (TAMVendPaymType).

    Hello Abaw,

    What I found is that the TAMVendPaymType relates to the Trade Allowance Management functionality (see e.g. technet.microsoft.com/.../dn600260.aspx) and determines how a customer receives compensation under a rebate agreement.
