It isn't possible to use item type Service in Assymbly BOM

We have various items with the type 'service', for instance items for painting and galvanizing.

I like to use this items in the Assembly BOM structures but it appears that that isn't possible. 

Is there another possibility to use this items in an assembly?

    Can you not use resources? This way you can plan for when the resources are available and in use docs.microsoft.com/.../projects-setup-projects

    Thank you. But it's not a resource, the items we want in the BOM are purchased services (non inventory). So the use of resources is in my opinion not the best option.

    John,

    Assembly Order BOM's look cannot include Items, with Type = Service. It is filtered out.

    You could still use inventory items but do this: www.olofsimren.com/.../

    If they are zero in value you can still arrange for purchases so you have a fictitious stock that gets rolled into the assembly.

    Failing that a modification or ramping up to the premium license so you get manufacturing
