D365 Icons List

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi Folks

Wonder if there is any documentation or a way that lists out all of the icons that are used in D365 CE (standard only shall be fine)? Appreciate if you can share any resources, requested by our client for their own documentation (UI centric customers). Thanks heaps.

Regards,

Jonas

    RE: D365 Icons List

    Hi Leah

Thanks for the response. We have actually changed some of the icons using customised icons (ribbon & entity). However, there is just a request from the client that they would like to be provided on list of the icons including the image one each section. I tried to search it up as well, but with no luck, so I suppose that I will just provide them with the list of custom icons instead. Thought that there would be official documentation from microsoft on their docs. It is just that the customer is heavily relying on the UI design & styling and developing concerns about anything that they see on the screen which they want everything to be easily looked up on their own documentation. (since there is an issue for current On-Premise version where some icons still refer to external resource, the files are not located and fetched locally on the server)

Anyway, thanks for the resourceful info. Cheers

    Regards,

    Jonas

    Hi Jonas,

From your description above, “lists out all of the icons that are used in D365 CE”.

Icon is entity icon or button icon or all? What do you want to know about icons?

Unfortunately, there are no one Microsoft document that list all icons of D365 CE currently.

In fact, it is meaningless, the label next to the icon helps the user to understand its function more intuitively, different OOB icons just make it easy for you to distinguish.

However, you can u[date custom entity icons and button icons with image that you want.
