Originial receipt of return

Hi everyone,

I cannot find anyware the original receipt number for return. Return have it's own order and credit note in invoice journal, but there is no information which receipt was provided in POS at first place.

FYI all steps that was made:

1. Products was sold in POS, receipt was printed transaction registered.

2. Customer came back with receipt and wanted to return items so in POS we chose return product, typed receipt number and then when order was visible we selected all items and it was successfully returnd

3. Return number is registered in RECEIPTS option in POS but there is no info about original receipt. I checked in HQ Retail Sales, Retail Transactions as well but without any results.

Any ideas?

Hey Jakub,

This is the way it works in Dynamics 365, you can check for similarities in AX 2012

After Statement posting is done.

You can see there is a Sales order associated with the return

If you open up that sales order, In the retail tab, click on Sales transactions

You will see the transactions associated with that order. Both the Sale, and the return
