Hi Experts,

Good Day!

I just want to know what are the impact to the system if we turn on Created by, Created date and time, Modified By, Modified date and time table properties in all AX tables.

Hi Mark,

Enabling it in all tables is a bad idea. Only use it when it makes sense. You will have a lot of upgrade effort and a small performance penalty as the AOS will update the values apart from the regular writes.

What would be the reason to get this thought of turning it on for all tables?

Hi,

In addition to the points suggested by Andre all the set-based operations performed on the table will roll back to row based operations.

for reasons given above I would not do this in Ax however if its is important then check out Redgate who have a tool to track all sql database changes.
