What is the proper way to rehire a worker in Dynamics AX 2012?

Let's say...If I need to re-activate a past worker after over a year of termination to the same legal entity where he/she used to be. What is the proper steps to re-activate or rehire his/her employment record? Please advise. Thanks!

    Hi Anita,

    If you have selected a past worker, you can use the button Employment history to create a new employment.

    Additional you can use the Worker position assignments button to create a new assignment.

    Thank you, Andre. Do you always have to add a new employment history even it's the same company/legal entity? Can this be done by editing the Employment duration end date to 12/31/2154? So, the employment information will be visible again on the form, such as Fixed plans and employment data. What will be the complication if I just edit the duration date?

    yes, I agree with Andre. Steps to Rehire is as he mentioned though that is straight from the Worker's (past worker) grid.

    How about if I want to Rehire through Recruiting Management? Any suggestion on the steps to perform rehire on an applicant who was previously employed with the company?
