OData cannot get only new/modified records

Hi experts,

A middleware provider is connecting to Talent using OData, they are able to filter and get information from the Talent entities, however, there is no way they can filter to get only new/updated records, similar to the delta provided by Data Projects. On D365 F&O, we can surpass this modifying the entity and exposing the ModifiedDateTime field, but in Talent we cannot modify the entities to provided any additional useful information.

    The thing with Talent is that most of its data is on CDS, have you tried accessing the entities from your PowerPlatform admin page? I don't really know if you'll be able to modify them, but it's worth a try.

    Hi BillDoors,

    Are the Talent data synced to CDS?

    Can you check the respective CDS entity and whether it has a date/time value field that you can use for filtering when leveraging other systems esp. Flow/LogicApps?

    Hello,

    You can modify the existing data entity but not the standard field available in entity. You can go to CDS entities via PowerApps. You can also create a custom field in Talent and sync with CDS.
