Marketing Form Submission Data

Hi

I've set up some marketing forms and embedded them on our webpage to capture leads - but we want this form to reside on several pages, and need to capture the URL for reporting. When I look at the form Insights I can see on the Submission that the Page URL is being captured - but when I try and create view for the Marketing Form Submissions entity there are no records there- but, as in the screenshot, there are submissions logged on the Marketing Form.

I've tried to get these records into PowerBI so I can map the relationship that the Lead and the Submission share (via the Marketing Form ID that they are both associated with - so I can see how many leads were generate from certain pages.

Any ideas you folks have to get this submission data out of the form would be really helpful.

Thanks

    RE: Marketing Form Submission Data

    Hi,

If there is a way to just get the total submissions made (even in Power BI) via different forms without setting-up Azure Blob Container?

    Regards,

    Hello Flowman,

Form submissions currently are stored as interactions in the marketing backend. Using the Marketing Analytics Configuration you receive a copy of your marketing interactions into your own Azure blob storage and "go party" on the data. Power BI is one scenario that we showcase.

Yet these submissions are not in the CRM data base today! You have discovered this submission entity and as far as I know it is only used for submission failures today.

We are considering to emit form submission interactions into his entity fully in a future release such that other processes in Dynamics 365 may utilize this data as well.

Thanks for your help Christian - you mention there "FormSubmitted interaction"; I'm really more interested in finding out where those records (and values) reside in the system. It's great having a preset template to get them into PowerBI, but if I know the source then I can do more with them. In short, what entity are they on? And what fields hold those values? (Page URL, from my earlier screen shot, is the one particular field/value I'm looking to extract).

    Thanks.

    Hello Flowman,

it is very well supported in Power BI to consume the FormSubmitted interaction and present the submitted values.

    Please find an example here:
