Cannot run Lab in Microsoft Learn - Dynamics 365 Finance

Hi Folks,

I'm going through the Microsoft Learn portal for Dynamics 365 Finance and I find the content to be very helpful.

However, I cannot complete the Lab session in unit 4 - Configure Address Book from the "Configure your organization in Finance and Operations apps \ Plan and configure the global address book in Finance and Operations apps \ Lab - Configure address books" topic.

Because the instruction in step 5 says " On the Microsoft Sign-in page, insert your mouse cursor into the Username field. On the Resources tab, below the Azure Portal heading, click Username, then press Enter." but there is no Resources tab in the VM so I'm unable to login and proceed with the lab.

Has anyone faced this issue?

Are there any workarounds?

Hi Skay,

The resources tab is outside VM. See below:

You can enter user name / password and then it will open the VM.

click on username under resources,.. then you can either enter password or click on password. Then logged in. If you don't see internet explore opens up by default (I did see it). But i closed it and then locked the machine. came back in, this time no page opens up by default.

click on IE icon at the bottom left side

It opens up the sign-in page.

The username / password you should use is per below:

still on the resources tab. It will then log you in. Here is what it looks finally.
