Asset leasing

Posted on by 8
We are having client has core business of asset leasing. due to core business having huge data and it is quite difficult to create manual record. we suggested to perform the same via data management.

There is mainly 3 data entity namely: Leas staging, Payment contract scheduling and executory payment. while we upload first 2 data entity with proper data first one has been imported successfully but system giving error for second one" payment contract schedule" the error is Lease ID not exist.

As per my view system is looking into assets leasing table for lease ID instead import assets leasing table.

i am great full for all your valuable input on this issues we are facing.

Thanks in advance .

    Hi Dangar,

You can change field mappings and enable the use of number sequences when importing assets via data management. Have you tried that already?

    Hi AA Calavon,
    Thanks for the reply.

agree with you but that should not be the case, as we are creating new record then how can we insert the lease ID. and if we need to create it manually then it is not serving the purpose of automatic record creation.  Lease ID having number sequence which we have define so while we manually create new lease system is generating Lease ID automatically. if it is taking reference of original lease table then it should create automatically that is what i believe.

    Thanks a again.

    Hi Dangar,

A related data entity is indeed validating data for references in the original tables, not in staging or other intermediate tables. In this case, you would need to have a record in the Asset Leasing table.
